Sector fund
Construction Fund
The Construction Fund is a joint initiative that improves access to finance for small and medium construction enterprises, helping them grow, deliver projects and jobs.
Overview
A joint SEDFA-CIDB initiative
The Construction Fund is a R300 million initiative jointly funded by SEDFA and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), with both institutions contributing equally toward the establishment and implementation of the Fund. SEDFA provides financial products and services to support SME growth. The CIDB ensures regulatory compliance and supports sector development.
To roll out the Fund, SEDFA and CIDB will jointly issue a Request for Information (RFI) inviting proposals from qualified non-banking financial institutions (intermediaries).
